Appointments
Except in the case of an emergency, we prefer to see our patients by appointment. We recognize that our patients have busy lives, and we do our best to see you at your scheduled time. Occasionally, however, we ask for your patience if your physician is called to respond to an emergency. To help our office run smoothly, please call in advance if you cannot keep an appointment. We also ask you to verify with your primary care physician that your referral form has been submitted to our office. Without it, we may have to reschedule your appointment. We realize this is an inconvenience, but it is required by some insurance companies.
Prescriptions
All requests for prescription renewals should be called into our office during weekday hours. Please try to call your requests in at least three days before you run out of medication.
Fees & Insurance
Charges for physicians’ services will vary, depending on the nature of your appointment. Payment is expected at the time of your visit. If you cannot meet the financial obligations of your care, please talk to us so we can make appropriate arrangements. Chesapeake Cardiology Clinic welcomes new patients. We accept many of the health insurance plans available on the Eastern Shore. Please call us to confirm that your plan is one we accept. If you are covered by an HMO insurance plan, please make sure that you bring a referral from your primary care physician, if it is required.
Telephone Policy
We try not to interrupt the physician who is seeing a patient. If your call is not for urgent care, we will do our best to return it the same day.
